Apricot Walnut Porridge

50 g oatmeal
250 ml water
1 tsp cinnamon
4 dried apricots
1 tbsp walnut oil



Put the oat flakes in a pot with the water and bring to boil. Cook for 5 minutes and mixing from time to time.

At the end of the cooking time, add the cinnamon, mix well and remove from the heat.

Cut the dried apricots into pieces and place the on the porridge. Sprinkle with the walnut oil and enjoy.



The most important substance in walnut oil is omega-3 fatty acids. They are important for the health of nerve cells and brain cells. The magnesium in walnut oil helps to reduce stress and blood pressure. The many good dietary fibers help to keep the blood sugar level down. As they give long-lasting saturation. Oat flakes have many good fiber and complex carbs. They satiate long and are good sources of energy. They help with mental tiredness and low concentration. They harmonize our mood and have a positive effect on our emotional level.



You can keep your porridge in the fridge for the next day without any problems. Heat again with coconut oil in the microwave or in a pot. You can also use the stored porridge for pancakes or muffins. Simply stir a crushed banana and an egg into the porridge and prepare in a pan or oven.
