Apple Walnut Porridge

INGREDIENTS  I  SERVE 1:
50 g oatmeal
250 ml water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 apple
1 tbsp walnut oil

PREP: 5M  I  COOKING: 5M

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put the oat flakes in a pot with the water and bring to boil. Cook for 5 minutes and mixing from time to time.

At the end of the cooking time, add the cinnamon, mix well and remove from the heat.

Cut the apple in half, remove the core and cut into pieces. Place the apple pieces on the porridge, sprinkle with the walnut oil and enjoy.

 

Health

The most important substance in walnut oil is omega-3 fatty acids. They are important for the health of nerve cells and brain cells. The magnesium in walnut oil helps to reduce stress and blood pressure. The many good dietary fibers help to keep the blood sugar level down. As they give long-lasting saturation. Oat flakes have many good fiber and complex carbs. They satiate long and are good sources of energy. Apples keep the brain healthy. Studies have shown that anxiety and nervousness have improved.

 

Pleasure

You can keep your porridge in the fridge for the next day without any problems. Heat again with coconut oil in the microwave or in a pot. You can also use the stored porridge for pancakes or muffins. Simply stir a crushed banana and an egg into the porridge and prepare in a pan or oven.
