Filet the grapefruit and add to the chickpeas with the juice.

Sprinkle with walnuts, raisins and olive oil and then the herbs. Enjoy

Chickpeas are much more than just inconspicuous legumes with a funny name. They have an extremely positive effect on digestion, the cardiovascular system and blood sugar levels. The small nutrient bombs contain a lot of proteins, minerals and trace elements, are rich in B vitamins and dietary fibres: A perfect choice for all vegans, health and figure-conscious. Chickpeas also help to increase concentration and improve your mood. The grapefruit contains many bitter substances. These reduce insulin and cholesterol levels and thus make you full up fast. They also help you lose weight. Raisins are rich in flavonoids and antioxidants that strengthen your mind. Walnuts help with their omega-3 fats against stress and concentration deficits.

You can keep the salad in a food box at the fridge for the next day. Or make the salad fresh in the office. Keep the rest of the chickpeas in the fridge. If you buy cans, pour the chickpeas into a glass or other container. Never store them in the can. The tin in the can collects in the food and can change the taste. It can also irritate your stomach and intestines.
